Eat My Peach & Acupuncture for The Soul

Imagine a technology that creates access to the gift we were all given: LIFE

Greetings Good People,

There is a peach tree in my backyard who I have been tending.

The first couple of years I lived with this land,

she didn’t receive what she needed,

and she didn’t give what I wanted: her fruit. 

Each year she popped out a handful of peaches, and the birds and I would race to see who could eat the peaches first. (Spoiler alert: the birds always won.)

Then I took the job of tending her seriously, and gave her the water and nutrients she needed to come into a state of full bloom.

I began the pleasurable experience of receiving her peaches.

But this year I wasn’t here for peach season, and after being a month away returned home to a shock: there was a pile of orange and pink balls on the ground of our back yard. 

But something was off. 

The fruits of Peach Tree’s labor had fallen to the earth and weren’t being eaten. 

The residents of my home hadn’t gone to visit her,  

The birds and rodents weren’t eating her peaches either. 

No one was receiving her gift. 

(well except Earth of course, who I imagine gladly received and composted the peaches into fine soil to feed and replenish peach tree’s roots.) 

One of Peach Tree’s branches had snapped from the weight of the fruit not eaten.

Her arm had broken off.

It got me thinking about the weight of having so much to give, 

and what can happen when there is no way to give

or no one to receive what is offered– 

and how the the weight of the gift can break you.

I’ve seen people sink into depression, confusion, and have a general lack lustre for life when they can’t find the pathway to give the gift (of life) flowing through them. 

IMAGINE IF WE HAD A TECHNOLOGY that could carve a pathway to give

the gift that we were given: LIFE. 

And this technology…

is free and accessible to all

brings people together, 

heals wounds, 

releases grief,

spreads love,

builds bridges through turmoil, 

integrates trauma, 

and carves a path to peace on Earth. 

Wouldn’t you want to know how to download that tech onto your device? 

Wouldn’t you want to buy the guide that teaches you how to use this technology? 

And what if I said….

This incredible technology
was installed inside of you before you were born.

And all you need to know is how to access it.

What if I said…this technology will bring things from the land of etherial to the land of material as it…

Gives access to unseen worlds 

Activates your life force

Co-creates new realities

Births new beings/creatures/superheros in light speed

Helps you travel to far off places without leaving your home

Provides access to every emotion 

Provides access to the unseen world

Transmits healing energy into a room

and what if I said that your work–

possibly the most important work you may ever have in this life time

is to gain mastery over this tool

that will help you guide the steering wheel of life.

And your real job is to learn how to access the golden key that will unlock your life force and genius. 

This is what it is to be a Sacred Storyteller.

We use these powers for good. 

By telling stories that serve life. 

The other day a woman shared she was contending with feeling like pursuing her creative desires was frivolous. 

I get it. 

I used to feel a confusion around how could something so pleasurable – be of value. 

This is the perfect moment to dive into a conversation about the historical impact of calvinsim and puritanical values, and how they continue to haunt and taunt us in our modern day worlds. 

Did you know that in puritanical times, one could be punished for being idle?

This makes sense in context: winter was coming. Death would be known if they didn’t build the houses for the colony. But that was then and this is now, and it has become clear that all of the constant doing is doing more harm than good, and we really need to stop creating without considering what impact these creations will have for generations to come.

The act of creation is one of the most powerful life force giving energies on our planet. 

We create stories, paintings, sculptures, gardens, homes, beautiful meals…

from the same energy source we create humans from. 

To know yourself as a conscious creator, is to come face to face with the godliness within. 

It is to access your power as a creator

and determine your fate

as you decide– what role you will play in this life. 

This is a dangerous spell:

This idea that learning how to use the tools that provide us access to understanding the full potential of our being is frivolous. 

[Side Bar} In ancient Greece, everyone was required to take theater classes, in the same way in modern Greece now everyone is required to spend time in the military. It was also assumed that everyone would go to the theater, and there was patronage to cover the cost of those who could not afford their own tickets.

This Spell is so dangerous, that it has convinced one too many that we need tools outside of ourselves to know ourselves and the world around us.

Let us break this spell now. 

For the spirit of life, of joy, of happiness and that unbreakable feeling of connection, inspiration, and courage all come alive in the experience of creating and telling Sacred Stories.

Did you know :

• When Laura Ling was held captive in North Korea she said one of the things that got her through was a novel?

• Neil Gaiman tells a tale about his grandmother, when in a concentration camp, risked certain death to read Gone With The Wind, and shared it with her fellow prisoners.

• And all of the others who escaped a painful existence to find relief, companionship, and healing when a story provided a way into another world.

You don’t have to be a writer to tell a story that will get people through the hardest times.

INTENTION is what distinguishes a Sacred Storyteller from those who use this tool to manipulate, capitalize, and prey upon those who can’t see a story that is coming for them. 

Because when we come to the helm of sacred storytelling, 

we are saying:

Eat my peach. 

I have a gift to give you– and it will awaken your soul.

This is what we do when we tell stories. 

We open the sanctuary of the soul’s consciousness. 

We don’t give answers, hacks, or advice, 

we give something bigger:

Access to our Humanity, and the keys to sovereignty.

We provide places for the constellation of our life experience to come into a grander expression that enlivens the expression of life itself. 

So gather people in…and tell your stories, and love by listening to others.
